AMERITAGE, A GWW Group brand, has developed a completely unique new style of lightweight musical instrument case using its own patent-pending technology. Called the Nouveau Weight-Less Case, it uses a new construction process that combines the protective qualities of traditional wooden cases with the popular lighter weight offered by today's molded cases and gig bags. The Nouveau Weight-Less was launched at the summer NAMM show in Nashville.
An Ameritage spokesman commented, "With this new case design, musicians will no longer need to compromise. The Nouveau Weight-Less Case will surprise musicians because these cases appear to be heavy-duty and substantial, like our traditional Ameritage cases. Yet when you pick them up, the weight is significantly reduced. We have maintained those components we feel are essential in quality case design. Exterior sides are constructed of strong six-ply hardwood veneer, which allows the case to breathe."
The case features Ameritage's traditional valance closure and heavy-duty brass latching hardware, plus a new, beefy padded handle.
