`Enzo' it is
It's official: Ferrari will name its coming $450,000 exoticar ``Enzo,'' in honor of the company's founder. Known alternately as FX, F60 (in keeping with the F40 and F50 progression) and F140 at its recent Tokyo showing (AW, June 10), putting the founder's name on the car has been bandied about for more than a year.
No matter what it's called, look for Enzo to establish the supercar pace when it arrives in early 2003. Powered by a 650-hp 6.0-liter V12 engine, Enzo's top speed is pegged at 217 mph, with 0 to 60 mph coming in an estimated 3.2 seconds. Ferrari will debut Enzo Sept. 28 at the Paris show.
