Celebrating the convertible
Regarding your June 24 article celebrating convertibles, truer words could not have been written about the Miata's pure driving experience. I bought mine in '91 for $12,500 and drove it until '99, when I totaled it (and got paid $9,600 for it). The Miata was the best car I ever had (including two Lotus 7s) and the top was hardly ever up!

Mention for a U.S. team at Le Mans
Your June 24 article on the Le Mans race focused on the expected overall win by the Audi prototypes, while omitting any mention of an important class victory: Kevin Buckler's Racer's Group team won the GT class with a Porsche GT3 RS. Surely this American privateer team is worthy of a mention. The GT class features cars that are closer to what we all drive (or hope to drive) vs. the prototype cars, and has a special interest for enthusiasts and club racers.
