Military Coup, Take II?

Deposed and then miraculously restored to power after two turbulent days in April, Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez is taking no chances this time. Earlier this month, as coup rumors once again swirled around Caracas, Chavez had antiaircraft batteries installed near the presidential palace. His generals tried to present the move as "routine," but last Friday Chavez admitted it was a response to reports that a group involved in the April coup intended to bombard the palace from the air. Pro-Chavez members of the National Assembly said the plan involved privately owned Blackhawk helicopters based in the Netherlands ...
