OWNERS
AFTER 10 MONTHS AND 25,000 MILES IN A Focus ZX3, I know firsthand Ford has built an amazing road car. I have total confidence in the SVT engineering team to make the car even better. Remarkable! This is a true sports car under the guise of a modest, simple hatchback. Having spent significant miles driving MGs, Triumphs and Healeys, I can say I love the SVT Focus.

WHILE I'M A BIT BEYOND THE TARGET AGE for this car, I wanted a fun daily driver that is priced right. This zippy little car is just that. It rides and stops well and handles great. I considered the SVT Lightning, Lincoln LS, Jaguar X-Type, Dodge Neon R/T and a Mercury Marauder. I couldn't expect more for under $20,000.

I PURCHASED A SONIC BLUE FOCUS WITH a sunroof in early May, and every mile has been a delight. I plan on upgrading the stereo
myself. The car is smooth and quiet on the road, but has a pretty nice exhaust note as I bring the revs up just a bit. As far as what I paid? Let's just say I got a lot for my money. Being a Ford man, I didn't consider anything else worthy of parking next to my 2001 SVT Lightning.
