Our third quarter in the Super Sube saw us seeking out those less-traveled paths, wishing for snow, and driving with the sort of abandon you can only get away with in this all-wheel-drive traction machine. It may have been this off-the-beaten-path-itude that left us with two flat tires-at the same time-and contributed to the stone chip in the windshield, but can we blame that for the foul smell in the trunk as well? (No: We blame the hunter on our staff.)
As Robert Frost wrote, our choices have ``made all the difference'' and the difference is this WRX we've guided into spring resembles not the car we started with. Oh it still goes like the devil, and it's handling the corners just as well as it ever did. And we're still having fun, but...
