Tractor purchase credit facility launched for Uganda farmers
Lusaka - Several hundred farmers were the recipients of keys to new Massey-Ferguson MF 365 tractors in a ceremony in Masindi. The farmers were beneficiaries of a revolving credit facility established by a commercial bank to assist Ugandan farmers in buying tractors and farm implements.
"The issuing of credit implies there must be trust. The development of trust implies confidence," Victoria Sekitoleko, the country's Minister of Agriculture told those assembled.
