2002 JUN 26 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Health Partners International of Canada is continuing its mandate of providing medical aid to the world's most needy, by shipping nearly 500,000 doses of donated influenza vaccine to Colombia in partnership with Universal Aide Society of Vancouver, British Columbia. These vaccines, donated by Shire Biologics, will be directly placed into the Colombian Ministry of Health's national immunization program for the disadvantaged.
Because of this major shipment, nearly 500,000 needy people will be inoculated against the flu virus.
