Imagine a world so man-crammed, you short-circuit your Palm keeping track of your suitors. A world where you have more guys than nail-polish colors to pick from. What is this, Fantasy Island meets Blind Date? Nope, reality. It's official--the days of hitching "There are no men out there" are over at last!

According to the United States Census Bureau's 2000 data, for the first time in decades, single men outnumber single women in the 25 to 34 age category. So whether you're looking for long-term love or a series of ultrafun flings, now's your chance to capitalize on the existence of mucho men. Here's how to make the most of this pheno-men-on.

blow off a so-so beau

He laughs like an asthmatic puppy? Buh-bye. Twenty-nine and still lives at home? Adios. Uses the word dude in every other sentence? See ya. If the sizzle has fizzled but you've been holding on because you dread being single again, kick him to the curb. Chances are, you won't be flying solo for long: In the 25- to 34-year-old age-group alone, for every 1 million single women, there are not only a million single men, there are a million plus an extra 124,000. So take a deep breath and break off a relationship that's more over than last year's camouflage craze. Just be sure to let your mismatched man down extra easy--in this chick-shortage climate, he's going to have a hard time trying to replace you.

flex your flirt style

The amazing man majority means your chances of rejection are narrower than a pair of size-zero jeans. So however you like to flirt--boldly or coldly--you're virtually guaranteed to score.

The next time you go hottie hunting, throw caution to the wind: Send him a drink or use a pick-up line so bold, it might make him blush. It'll probably work, and if not, so what? You've honed your hombre-catching skills for use on the next babe who's (literally) right around the corner.
