Here's how to pick a night when the show's sure to be good: "The most spectacular sunsets occur after a thunderstorm, when there's residual moisture suspended in the air, enabling the reflection of more wavelengths than usual," says Mr. G, New York City meteorologist for the WB11 News at Ten and WCBS-FM 101.1. "The traditional red and orange hues will be extra vibrant, and weaker rays that are usually difficult to see-yellow, violet, green, indigo--will be visible."
