City and county restrictions have vendors worried as the Fourth of July approaches.

For fireworks vendors, it could've been a glorious Fourth of July: sound, color, patriotism, profits.

Then came the drought of 2002: fires, frustration, worry, loss.

A fireworks ban in the greater Albuquerque area has some fireworks vendors worried that their profits will go up in flames at the same time July 4 fervor is at its highest.
