St. George, Utah -- Strata Inc. last month added more depth to its 3-D rendering capabilities, introducing a major upgrade to StrataVision 3d and announcing that it is distributing Pixar's MacRenderMan rendering software.

Scheduled to ship in November for $695, $200 more than the previous release, Version 2.0 of the 3-D modeling and rendering program has been modified to support and take advantage of System 7.0, although it will continue to operate under 6.0 versions of the Macintosh operating system.
