South Korean prime minister in Vietnam pledges aid, investment.

The Republic of Korea [ROK] Prime Minister Lee Han-dong arrived in Hanoi on 9 April on the second leg of his five-day official visit to Vietnam. A red carpet welcome was held for the ROK prime minister at the Presidential Palace the same day.

After the welcoming ceremony, Vietnamese Prime Minister Phan Van Khai and his ROK counterpart Lee Han-dong held talks at the government house.

Speaking at the talks, Prime Minister Lee Han-dong said: "Although the two countries established diplomatic relations just 10 years ago, bilateral relations have developed rapidly in many areas, including politics, economics, and culture. These relations have further expanded …
