Score a flirty flip (left): Run a small amount of smoothing cream through damp tresses, then blow-dry hair straight with a round brush, flipping ends up. Apply a dab of pomade to your fingertips, rub them together, then run them through only your ends to give them shine and show off their chunky texture. We like Redken Water Wax, $13.95. Curly girls should blow-dry using a diffuser attachment while tugging on individual curls to loosen them. Straight-haired women: Blow-dry, then use a waving iron with three barrels all over your hair from roots to ends. Finish by misting your mane with hair spray, pinning the sides back loosely in a barrette, and letting your bangs and a few tendrils hang around your face.
