2002 JUN 6 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- TriPath Imaging, Inc., (TPTH) announced that it has entered into an agreement with Doctors Research Group, Inc (DRG) to conduct a series of customer evaluations on a soft vaginal speculum (SoftSpec).
These studies will be conducted by leading academic medical centers, gynecologists, and family practitioners. The evaluations will document SoftSpec's ability to improve patient comfort during the vaginal examination. Doctors Research Group, Inc., received 510(k) clearance in March 2002 from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the SoftSpec disposable vaginal speculum.
