I'm glad there are people like Eric Zausner who have the means and Steve Moal who have the ability to create something so beautiful. This automotive art was created with vision and passion and it shows in every detail. Automotive enthusiasts everywhere should be proud.

Torpedo explosion

The Torpedo Roadster on the May 13 cover is the most magnificent example of roadster art I have ever seen. I have always loved the speedster or lakester front ends on '32 roadsters, but I never really loved the side or rear views. This guy Steve Moal built the roadster of my dreams, and I didn't really know for myself what it was supposed to look like until I saw the article.

Jerry Eddens, via e-mail

The Torpedo Roadster is a masterpiece of old and new craftsmanship. The question is not if it's worthy of Pebble, but is Pebble ready for something so new and great?
