Readers split over the legitimacy of Volkswagen's Porsche

The Porsche 914 was associated with Volkswagen and it hurt sales. The Porsche 924 was associated with Volkswagen and it hurt sales. The Porsche Cayenne will be associated with Volkswagen and it will... well, you get my drift.

As a longtime PCA member, I must say the Cayenne is, at best, cosmetically challenged. Pictures of the VW version (The News, May 6) prove there is light at the end of the tunnel for this platform.
