It was more than a nostalgia trip when I revisited my NEWSA and NWSA files. It was a technology trip, plus a dip back into 1976-1977 finances. There were the faded purple ink memos, the mimeographed newsletters, the inked-in corrections. NEWSA dues were $5, with $3 for students and unemployed. NWSA's sliding scale went from $5 up to $25.
