2002 MAY 15 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Cardiac researchers at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, working in collaboration with Swedish investigators, have developed a novel vaccine to prevent plaque buildup in genetically engineered mice with high cholesterol levels.

Abstracts of their results were presented at the American College of Cardiology's annual scientific session in Atlanta.
