MAKEUP         WRONG WAY 
 
Eyeliner       Pushing the pencil down into the lashes or 
               squeezing eyes shut as you line them -- both 
               of which can create a shaky line 
 
Eye shadow     Placing a dark powder-formula color 
               directly onto bare lids and not blending, 
               both of which result in blotchiness 
 
Foundation     Applying with fingers (which spreads 
               zit-causing dirt) and blending upward (which 
               enhances the appearance of facial hair). 
 
Lip liner      Using a freshly sharpened pencil and 
               pressing too hard on your lip line, which 
               creates an overly obvious line 
 
MAKEUP         RIGHT WAY 
 
Eyeliner       Lift your chin while looking down into a 
               mirror, then lightly drag the pencil across 
               your lash line using short strokes, 
 
Eye shadow     Coat lids with a concealer or pale beige
