Beijing, 27 March: Newly appointed spokesman Li Weiyi today hosted the monthly news conference of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council for the first time.

Li Weiyi is the current deputy director of the Information Bureau of the Taiwan Affairs Office. In his self-introduction, Li Weiyi said that in future he will assist Zhang Mingqing, assistant director of the Taiwan Affairs Office, in hosting the office's news conferences whenever …
