Peshawar, 9 Mar: The head of [southern Afghan] Helmand Province's Nad-e Ali District has been killed, along with his drive.

Incoming reports say that some days ago the car of the head of the Nad-e Ali district, (?Khalifa Lal Mohammad), came under fire. As a result he and his driver were killed.

Reliable sources from Quetta [Pakistan] told Afghan Islamic Press that this attack took place in the centre of Nad-e Ali, which is located about 30 km northwest of Helmand Province's capital, Lashkargah. No investigation has been carried out into the attack so far.
