Pyongyang, 6 March: The top diplomat and some members of the House of Representatives of the United States recently demanded "inspection" of the DPRK's [Democratic People's Republic of Korea] nuclear facilities. They asserted that the US should ditch the DPRK-US Agreed Framework and suspend the LWR [light water reactor] project to terminate the DPRK's "nuclear development programme" unless such a demand is met.

It is not clear yet whether this assertion reflected the personal will of some US statesmen echoing Bush's reckless remarks or an official stand and view of the US administration and Congress. …
