Rhino Records Launches Spoken-Word Audio Label Rhino Records, the West coast record producer known for its high-quality reissues of classic rock 'n' roll and jazz recordings, will launch a new spoken-word audio label with the release next month of The Jack Kerouac Collection, a four-cassette package containing the complete recorded works of the influential writer and legendary spokesman of the Beat generation. Among the recordings included in the new collection are "Poetry for the Beat Generation," "Blues and Haikus" (featuring musical accompaniment by jazz greats Al Cohn and Zoot Sims), "Readings By Jack Kerouac on the Beat Generation," as well as several previously unreleased selections.
