Somali faction leaders arrive in Belgium for talks with EU officials.

Husayn Muhammad Aydid and Gen Adan Abdullahi Gabyow [Mogadishu faction leaders] who are members of the SRRC [Somali Reconciliation and Reconstruction Council] executive committee, are expected to hold talks with EU heads in Belgium today.
Husayn Aydid and Gen Gabyow left Rome, Italy, after holding talks with Italian government officials. According to Italian radio, RAI, their talks centred on Somali reconciliation and how Italy could play a role.
