YOU win some and you lose some, but when you lose much and gain nothing, there is much to consider. Mohd Hamdan Abdul Hamid (right) broke many hearts when he moved to SM Sri Sentosa earlier this year. Last year, his track exploits garnered three golds for SM Aminuddin Baki.

This year, they could only stand and stare at Hamdan winning honours for Sri Sentosa. His change in school was spurred by a need to improve himself as he had no proper guidance at Aminuddin Baki.

But he found a mentor at Sri Sentosa in coach Khoo Boo Keat. "At Aminuddin Baki, there was no one to guide me.

All I had was an outsider coming to help …
