Mobilink signs pact with United Bank to get $12 million structured trade facilities.

ISLAMABAD : Mobilink has signed an agreement with United Bank Limited (UBL), Corporate Banking Group to obtain structured trade facilities (STF) worth $ 12 million from the bank.

This facility, along with Rs 210 million short-term loan, will be utilised as part of Mobilink's expansion plans for the year 2002. Al Barry, President Mobilink and Amir Zafar Khan, President, UBL led the signing ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Barry said Mobilink had aggressive plans for the current year to ensure its place as the market leader in mobile communication in Pakistan.
