MALAYSIA SENDS ST PATRICK'S DAY GREETINGS TO IRELAND.
KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 (Bernama) -- Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail has sent a congratulatory message to the President of Ireland Mary McAleese in conjunction with St Patrick's Day.
In his message released by Wisma Putra here, the King wished McAleese good health and the people of Ireland continued prosperity.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad has also sent similar greetings to his counterpart Bertie Ahem.
In his message, Dr Mahathir said he was happy that relations between the two countries had been greatly strengthened in recent years. …
