MSC Trustgate.com Sdn Bhd, one of the two certificate authorities (CAs) in Malaysia, is confident that it will continue to record positive growth despite the after-effects of the dotcom crash as well as increased competition from other CAs.

`In our experience, the "bust" has not affected our customers' perceptions at all as our customers are mostly industrial buyers,' says Badrul Hisham Mahari, the CEO of MSC Trustgate, he tells mb-e.

Badrul adds that MSC Trustgate's clients are blue chip organisations and they are well informed in their decision-making. `They understand that the bust was only regarding the stock market. The proposition for Internet transactions remains sound and continues to grow,' he says.
