Firm gets mart respect after maiden project.

MAH Sing Properties Sdn Bhd may be a newcomer in the Johor property market, but its ability to successfully rehabilitate the Sri Pulai Perdana project in Johor Baru has earned it the recognition and respect of the market today.

The Kuala Lumpur-based developer entered the Johor market in March 2000, when it purchased 124.29ha of freehold explantation land, which cost RM87 million, from Southern Integrated City Sdn Bhd. The project now known as Sri Pulai Perdana commenced in October of the same year.

Sri Pulai Perdana is the maiden project of Mah Sing Properties in Johor and the fifth in the company's stable, which includes its flagship Mah Sing Integrated Industrial Park project in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

Sri Pulai Perdana fronts the Johor Baru-Pontian main road and is being developed in phases.

Upon completion, the project will have 2,032 two-storey terraced houses, 68 two-storey semi-detached houses, 58 two-storey bungalows, 1,690 low- cost and low-medium-cost apartments, 214 units of two- and three-storey shop offices and 129 units of low-cost …
