Wockhardt recast of Rhein Biotech venture complete.
MUMBAI, March 26. WOCKHARDT Ltd has said that it has completed the restructuring of its joint venture with Rhein Biotech GmbH, called Wockhardt Rhein Biopharm.
According to a press release, the company said that it has acquired 100 per cent ownership of the joint venture. "In the new situation, Wockhardt Ltd has a co-exclusive licence on Rhein Biotech's Hansenula polymorpha technology for the production of Hepatitis-B vaccine in India," the statement said.
