As more investors express interest in investing in foreign stocks, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) prepares to set up the necessary framework for such investments.
In an interview, SEC chairperson Lilia R. Bautista said the corporate regulator is in the process of evaluating incentive models for cross-border listing to attract portfolio investments by allowing foreign stocks to be traded at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
