EVERYTHING, as far as Pakistan are concerned, is going according to plan when they beat a resilient New Zealand 2-0 in a World Cup Group A match at the National Hockey Stadium last night.

It was Pakistan's third consecutive win and it came on a night when they didn't play to their full potential.

"The team is not clicking the way they did in the Six-Nation (which Pakistan won). I personally feel the tempo is not as what is required for a big match," said Pakistan manager Brig. Khalid Sajjad Khokhar after the match.

"Tomorrow's (today) match against Argentina will be our first test.
