Terrorism and Zimbabwe to dominate Brisbane meeting.

UNDOUBTEDLY, the issue of terrorism will dominate this week's meeting of Commonwealth Heads of Government (CHOGM) in Coolum, Sunshine Coast, but the leaders could be forced to give equal attention on the issue of Zimbabwe.

While there is doubt whether Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe will attend the meeting, the leaders could expect Britain to lead the way in calling for tough action against Zimbabwe as the country's election draws closer.

Britain has made known its intention to recommend an immediate suspension of Zimbabwe from the Commonwealth's main decision-making bodies.
