Shihlin Electric, Mitsubishi to set up joint venture in mainland China.
Taipei, Feb. 28, 2002 (CENS)--Shihlin Electric & Engineering Corp., a main local manufacturer of electric machinery and equipment, and its technological partner Mitsubishi Electric will establish a joint venture to manufacture electric auto parts in mainland China
Since Kwang Yang Motor Co., Ltd., one of the top three local motorcycle manufacturers and a client of Shihlin's, produces motorcycles in mainland China, Shihlin has established three factories there to supply electric parts of motorcycles for the former. Shihlin's three factories are located in Changzhou of Jiangsu Province, Xiamen of Fujian Province, and Changsha of Hunan Province
