Georgian parliament censures Russian stand on US-Georgian military cooperation.

Chairwoman of the Georgian Parliament Nino Burjanadze has described the response of Russian politicians to the US decision to help Georgia establish units capable of fighting terrorism as incredible and bewildering. In an interview with Georgian television's Channel One, Burjanadze said that although Georgian was determined to ensure its own security and defend its national interests, it would never jeopardize the security of any foreign country or disregard its legitimate interests. The following is an excerpt from the report by Georgian TV on 28 February:
