Iran's shipping line to extend to the international market, official says.

Tehran, 27 February: Islamic Republic of Iran's Shipping Line (IRISL) extended its activity to the international markets despite the current global standstill in the shipment of cargoes, boosting its last year's capacity of two million tons to 3.8m t over the first ten months of the current Iranian year (starting 21 March).

Managing director of IRISL, Ali Ashraf Afkhami, said here Wednesday [27 February] on the threshold of the commemoration of its 35th anniversary: "Some 16.2m t of cargoes have been transported by IRISL over the first ten months of the current year which shows a 16 per cent boost …
