Iranian president, visiting Italian minister discuss expansion of ties.

Tehran, 25 February: President Mohammad Khatami stressed here Monday [25 February] expansion of economic and trade ties between Iran and Italy.
Foreign Ministry's Public Relations Department said that Khatami in a meeting with Italian minister for Productive Activities Minister Antonio Marzano expressed Iran's readiness for extensive economic cooperation with Italy.
He also called for Italian investments in Iran's small and medium-scale industries due to their high return on investments and employment creating capabilities.
