Afghanistan/Iran: Bakhtar news agency seeks cooperation with IRNA.

Kabul, 10 February: Head of Afghanistan's national news agency Bakhtar, Soltan Ahmad Behin, told IRNA Saturday [9 February] in Kabul that in order to rehabilitate its personnel and train them professionally, Bakhtar seeks IRNA's assistance.

Referring to the shared language and religion of the two neighbouring countries, Behin said: "IRNA and Bakhtar should have closer cooperation in news dissemination and information technology fields."

He added: "Iran and Afghanistan's shared cultures have provided a proper ground for comprehensive relations between the two nations in all other fields, as well." …
