LAHORE : Punjab government has allocated a sum of Rs four million to strengthen the Citrus Research Institute, Sargodha, said Jawed Iqbal, Secretary Agriculture, Punjab.

While addressing the opening ceremony of a two-day training programme on "Kinno(Oranges) Cultivation for Exports" organised by the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (Smeda) at the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI).

Abdul Sami Sawhney, President SCCI and Muhammad Alamgir Chaudhry, Manager Training and Development, Smeda also addressed the opening ceremony, says a Smeda press release issued here on Tuesday.
