KARACHI : The restructuring of non-banking financial institutions is high on agenda of the government, said the Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz while talking to members of Leasing Association of Pakistan (LAP) at a luncheon meeting on Tuesday.

The leasing industry is a critical part of the economic mix of a country and the biggest source of medium-term finance, the minister observed.

The meeting was held by the Leasing Association to felicitate the minister on the Awards of "Finance Minister of the Year" bestowed on him recently by Euromoney and The Banker.
