The game "Guhsegi," which resembles baseball and is thought to have been carried to America from Sirnak, has been drawing the attention of members of the media, who have been rushing to Sirnak.

Youth and Sport Province Manager A. Hamit Kanagi stated that baseball was traditional, and that even old people play baseball in Sirnak.

"Many TV channels have been inviting us onto their programs relating to the game. One of our teams, consisting of six players, has been in Istanbul, and I will go to Istanbul to appear on the Hulya Avsar Show. Our aim is to introduce the game to Turkey. I hope that we will succeed," Kanagi said.
