Assemblymen declare support for Kurup.

KOTA KINABALU, Wed. - The five Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah Assemblymen who were earlier said to be aligned to Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan have declared their support for party president Datuk Joseph Kurup.

They are Datuk Louis Rampas (Kiulu), Johnny Goh (Kinanam), Atong Magabis (Matunggong), Karim Adam (Kundasang) and Edward Linggu (Tamparuli).

The five concurred that the congress and election held today was legal as it was a continuation of yesterday's adjournment.

Three of the five were among those elected to the supreme council during a separate annual general meeting held by Jeffrey's faction yesterday.
