PESHAWAR : The chairman, Frontier Custom Agents Group, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi, has thanked the governor, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Dr Ishrat Hussain, for giving prompt heed to demand of NWFP business community in regard with opening of National Bank branch at Torkham.

In a press statement, Zia said the SBP governor was requested by NWFP businessmen during his visit to the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) to open a branch of National Bank at Torkham to facilitate the trading with Afghanistan.
