AMIDST mounting criticisms, the Selangor Menteri Besar has come out in support of the Selayang Municipal Council's (MPS) decision to force ratepayers to pay RM21 for garbage bins supplied by the council. However, his endorsement was met with disapproval from associations and consumer associations which felt it was wrong to force ratepayers without giving them an option. They said, Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo should consider objections from the residents before endorsing the MPS stand.
