JOHOR FC found the perfect start to life in Premier One, thanks to Eddy Helmi Manan.
His header midway in the opening half gave Johor FC a slender victory over Perak, last year's Malaysia Cup finalists, at the Pasir Gudang stadium last night.
But until the winning goal came, it was all so tense in those opening minutes that neither side could find the breakthrough needed to create a real opening, which perhaps was an indication of the opening match jitters.
