KUALA LUMPUR, Tues. - The Government believes that it has helped cripple terrorist organisations in the region following the arrests of members in Malaysia and Singapore.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said following the arrests of members of the Kumpulan Militan Malaysia and Jemaah Islamiah in Singapore, others in the organisations still at large were now lying low.

"However, we don't yet know the size or extent of the entire organisation as investigations are ongoing. But in the war against terrorism, we cannot afford to rest on our laurels," he said.
