Taipei, Jan. 29, 2002 (CENS)--Do-it-yourself (DIY) retailer B&Q Taiwan, an affiliate of the British B&Q Warehouse, will reinforce its operations on the island through special distribution ties with local partners, according to company chairman T.H. Ho

He said his company will create a completely new retail model in Taiwan based on alliances and drawing on B&Q's management skill and global procurement resources. Ho said his company will also tap overseas market, putting it into competition with B&Q Warehouse, which owns half of the Taiwanese company. …
