Escape Roads gets new(s) look
If you're reading this, you probably noticed that these pages do not look like they did last week. You may have wondered, ``Why?'' In the spirit of continuous improvement, we've decided to revamp this section of the magazine to provide better and broader coverage of the world of vintage, antique, specialty and collector cars.
Longtime readers will remember the genesis of Escape Roads 20 years ago-it started as a single piece about a classic car on the back page. So we've moved the car feature across the spread to a position of greater importance. Our art staff managed to figure out a way to put both more words and an extra picture on that page, which is now even riper for tearing out and three-hole punching.
We're still going to be profiling museums, writing about car events and looking at the peculiarities that make the world of used cars so much more than banderoles and plaid sports jackets. But we'll be giving you this information in a newsier package, more like the News and Competition sections in the front and back of this book. More timely, more brief and, well, just more. We welcome your feedback.
