GRAND CENTRAL Communications and Comergent will separately detail new initiatives designed to leverage emerging Web services standards at InfoWorld's CTO Forum in San Francisco this week.

Grand Central will discuss enhancements to its Web Services Network business-to-business communications service, announced last week, which offers boosting tools support and security.

The enhancements leverage WSDL (Web Services Description Language) to provide integration capabilities when using major development platforms from companies such as BEA Systems, Microsoft, or IBM, according the San Francisco-based company.
